WasteMaster Installed At Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort has recently announced the implementation of our WasteMaster system as an innovative solution to ‘revolutionise its approach to waste reduction and environmental sustainability’.

Green Eco Technologies will work with Novotel and hotel owners Prime Value Asset Management - The Shakespeare Property Group (SPG) utilising our WasteMaster technology to divert food and organic waste from landfill, and through this process generate a residual material which has a range of reusable benefits.

As signatories to the United Nations' Principles for Responsible Investment, Prime Value Asset Management - The Shakespeare Property Group (SPG) have demonstrated their commitment across their portfolio to sustainable investment, and tackling food waste in an environmentally beneficial way at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort forms part of this objective.

David Pinker, Green Eco Technologies Commercial Director for Australia, commented, “From the beginning of our journey with Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort, the commitment from all involved, including Resort Management & Staff and owners Prime Value Asset Management - The Shakespeare Property Group (SPG) to their sustainability goals, has shone through.”

SPG Vice President Hospitality Assets and Investments, Richard Saab, said “In the hospitality industry, managing food waste can be a significant challenge, particularly for establishments like restaurants and banquet facilities, which cater to a diverse array of guests, including those attending conferences and events. Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Shakespeare recognise the importance of addressing this issue and are proud to introduce WasteMaster's innovative solution to tackle food waste head-on.”

Nic O'Donnell, General Manager of Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort, emphasised the significance of this innovative solution, stating, "The introduction of WasteMaster represents a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to sustainability. We are dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint and implementing practices that prioritise the well-being of our planet. WasteMaster's advanced technology allows us to efficiently manage our food waste while minimising our impact on the environment."

The on-site installation of WasteMaster at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort will bring an effective and efficient solution to the management, reduction and repurposing of food waste, supporting the company ambitions for sustainability and the protection of our environment.
