Green Eco Technologies Attends IFAT Munich

IFAT Munich, the world’s leading trade fair for environmental technology, has concluded after five days of bringing together a diverse range of innovative exhibitors and visitors with great interest in sustainable solutions to support the planet.

More than 3100 exhibitors were present over 300,000 square meters of exhibition space – the equivalent of around 42 soccer pitches. The size and scale of the event is a clear indication of the importance of IFAT which this year was attended by an estimated 120,000 visitors from over 150 countries.

Green Eco Technologies was present as an exhibitor at IFAT for the duration of the fair which ran from May 13-17, presenting our award-winning food waste valorisation system WasteMaster. Katie Young, Commercial Director for the UK, Europe and South America, represented Green Eco Technologies throughout the event and had the opportunity to introduce WasteMaster and its unique operation which efficiently manages, reduces and repurposes food waste into beneficial resources once installed on-site.

Katie Young commented, “We’ve had a great week at IFAT in Munich meeting so many new people and organisations seeking to find innovative solutions to food waste, with significant interest in WasteMaster over the past five days.”

IFAT continues to be growing global network for decision-makers in companies in the environmental technology sector. The conversations Green Eco Technologies has been involved with throughout the exhibition week indicate a strong desire across many countries to innovate and tackle the damaging impact of food waste on our climate.

“It has also been a pleasure to meet with many current friends and partners of Green Eco Technologies," Katie Young continued, “the shared focus on sustainability and driving innovation for good has been inspiring.”

Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia with international offices in the UK, the UAE and Singapore, Green Eco Technologies is focused on reducing the overall impact of food waste disposal for businesses, institutions and organisations, and the environment.
