Adelaide Convention Centre showcases WasteMaster to celebrate World Environment Day
Green Eco Technologies is proud to have partnered with the Adelaide Convention Centre to help contribute towards successfully meeting their sustainability goals. As part of World Environment Day celebrations, WasteMaster was highlighted prominently as part of ACC’s efforts to reduce, manage and repurpose food waste on site. We’re pleased to be able to share highlights from this feature on our innovative, award-winning WasteMaster system.

“Here at Adelaide Convention Centre, we’re obsessed with energy and water conservation, responsible sourcing and minimising waste to landfill, and work closely with our clients on sustainable event management for a better tomorrow.
As part of our latest sustainability efforts, we recently installed Adelaide’s first WasteMaster – an innovative onsite food and organic waste recycling system, which converts food waste to high value uses, including energy production, fertiliser and compost. The WasteMaster accelerates the decomposition of food waste – without water or additives – reducing total volume to a much smaller quantity of dry and odour-free residual organic material.
The process reduces the weight and volume of food waste by up to 80 percent after conversion, creating efficiencies and significantly reducing equivalent greenhouse gas emissions by 84 percent.
