BIG GREEN AWARD FOR WASTEMASTER AS BEST WASTE RECYCLING PRODUCT/SOLUTION

Green Eco Technologies has won the Big Green Award in the Waste Recycling Product/Solution category for its WasteMaster food waste conversion system, from the Southern Sustainability Partnership.

Announced during an event in Dorset on 27 November and one of ten different awards representing the best sustainable companies and technologies voted for by the Partnership, the Waste Recycling Product or Solution award was presented to Green Eco Technologies as one of three finalists in this category.

Talking about the win, Jason Hoen, Global Sales and Marketing Director for Green Eco Technologies, said:

“We are delighted to have won this prestigious award in the category of waste recycling product or solution. The WasteMaster system has been developed to minimise the impacts of food waste on the Environment, while also re-purposing this putrescible waste, creating a valuable resource that can be re-used as green energy through anaerobic digestion.

“The Big Green Awards competition is a fantastic initiative to showcase innovations and the great work that is being done in many areas to support sustainability and the conservation of resources for future generations.”

The Southern Sustainability Partnership provides educational platforms and training to support best practice in corporate sustainability, environmental management and social value. The Partnership creates platforms such as events to enable both public and private organisations to meet, learn and develop sustainable solutions in their respective sectors.
