AusIMM collaborating with Green EcoTechnologies to showcase waste-reduction opportunities

AusIMM is collaborating with Green Eco Technologies (GET) to helpshowcase their safe, efficient and environmentally beneficial on-sitesolutions for the conversion and re-purposing of putrescible organicwaste into reusable resources.

GET’s innovative approach delivers savings and process improvement to all facets of organic wastemanagement. 

Food waste generated by mining communities presents significant disposal challenges, with transportation to landfill sites and the disposal itself being both costly and damaging to theenvironment.

Green Eco Technologies has developed the innovative WasteMaster system that efficiently converts food waste, without water or additives, reducing it by up to 80 per cent of pathogen-free residue, whichcan be used for purposes such as green energy and soil enrichment. 

The WasteMaster Technology is currently installed in many commercial kitchens and used to process both food prep and table waste in hotels, hospitals, cafeterias, universities etc and is ideal for minesite canteens.

AusIMM will collaborate with GET over the coming months to showcase the benefits of their technology through articles and other content, showing the potential applications of thistechnology for the resources sector.
